Thumbnail Gallery Tips

This section lists the important factors to get your site listed on the TGPs. The order of importance is in descending order. The top being the most important. While not every tip here is necessary to get listed on a TGP - these will help increase your chances of being listed by most. Check individual TGPs for their rules.

1. No popups - ads or with the picture in it. You should never open another browser to show the picture.
2. Must make thumbnails of the larger images - Do not just resize the larger image. You can use ThumbsPlus.
3. Gallery page should include at least 15 pics
4. Link the smaller thumbs to the larger .jpg (Not to an html page)
5. Maximum of 2 banners on your gallery page - would be better to use text links and no banners
6. Make galleries that have a theme - realize that the TGP will list your site as it sees it. So would you rather be described as: Teens, Amateurs, Hardcore, or Various? Which would you click on last?
7. Keep reciprocal links to no more than 5 to a page - you can always make duplicate pages with 5 more recips. Some pages require fewer or none at all, you must pay attention to those that have different requirements.
8. Track your submissions to the TGPs - those that don't list you, just eliminate them from your recips. But be careful not to get too anxious, just email them if you think there may be a problem. Sometimes the submit form doesn't work, sometimes your server may be down when they check your site.
9. Try to use content that is new and fresh - if you are using pics from advertisers, there is a good chance that those pics have already been seen a number of times. Especially the Amateur Pages pics!!
10. Try to develop a relationship with a couple of the TGPs - they really appreciate when people make an effort to send them traffic back.
11. Keep your page fresh and crisp looking - do not overstuff it with useless text and confusing images. It is best to make it easier for the surfer to browse your page. Nicely aligned tables make pages more appealing.

This section gives you the TGP pages, their stats page, and their submit page. Some sites do not have public stats pages, I have never understood why sites hide their stats, but that is their choice. Additionally, I have made comments about each site and their traffic. The 4 categories at the bottom of each give you a quick overview of the site.
The Categories:

1. Updates: How often the site adds new galleries.
2. Difficulty: How difficult it is to get listed on that site.
3. Popularity: How many visitors a day the site receives.
4. PC Friendly: How receptive they are to the Porn City sites.
